Grand Theft Lava Changelogs
This is the changelog page for the map used on my server and the NHS Idle Server; also known as trade_grandtheftlava.
A rework of my other map 'ach idle neon ben'. It has been given a face lift, and an updated layout for better playability.
A facility that not only encompasses lavaworks, railways, but also other and expanded areas. Theres a lot more to explore while you do whatever you want; whether it's to idle, kill, or trade.
Features over 35 rooms over the last version, this is the penultimate map for any player looking to have fun and chill. I would also say that there's a room for just about everyone, check it out and let me see what you think!
New key areas; The Rocketlabs, The Waterway, and the new Roof
Uses some models from the frontline pack, and custom textures/cubemaps.

Changelog for ach_idle_neon_ben_v3X
Renamed map to trade_idle_grandtheftlava -- Current version: a8
The map being renamed is a bit of a rebrand of the map, but also with it comes a big component I've been meaning to add for a while
TLDR;
- The entire map is now open world; being that the map connects to itself in many branching paths, and offers more to explore and find
This means new areas, new ways to get around the level, and new places to hang out in
- New area: The Rocketlabs
- New area: The Waterway
- Over 35 new rooms added to the map, compared to the size of v27, the playable area has increased by about 65%
- New roof structures/buildings
- Interconnected roof access map-wide in multiple spots
- Overhauled a few major existing areas
- World lighting, and light source entitys tweaked to offer better shadows/effects in some places
- Some new textures and overlays have been made for new areas
- Cleaned up some areas where I had some very messy brushwork
- New spectator and welcome cameras that include new areas
- A handful of new easter eggs/secrets
Map Changes
Spawn/Central Area
- Lower red lounge had it's out-of-bounds displacement tweaked to match the blu sides lounge
- Glass covering the roof window is gone
- Old school egypt trade plaza trees swapped for Mercenary Park trees
- Overlays added to signify what area you are entering
- Textures tweaked at areas entrances
- Bottom idle pit has had it's exits (or entrances if you will) and floor altered to look a bit better.
The Lavaducts (8 new rooms)
New Areas
- A new hallway lies through the bathrooms with another room upstairs
- Beyond the bathroom hallway lies the Rocketlabs
- Another room was added in honor of one of the fallen -- which also has another area and connects with an existing one
Other Changes
- Entrance hallway has been retextured, and more textures have been added to the rotation
- Vent secret room now has a usable door, window here now has blinds
- Other window in this hallway also resized to match the other one
- Smaller 'Ben's Lavapit' has been renamed to 'Gully's Waste Pit'
This areas ceiling has been adjusted to the new map layout and looks much more interesting
This area has also had it's textures tweaked, a couple displacements removed/tweaked for new ceiling, and fixed the displacement in the tunnel connecting to the lobby
- Larger 'Ben's Lavapit' has had the overarching rockwall removed to be much more jump friendly
There is now a ladder leading to the roof of the map with an extra little hideaway room in between
The Gooby PP easter egg has been changed
- Cafeteria has had minor cosmetic changes
- Lobby room has been overhauled and looks much better
- Bathrooms tweaked to look a lot more in-line with other locker rooms
- Some other texture fixes/ cleaning up brushwork that I can't remember
The Railways (7 new rooms)
New Areas
- You can now access the backlot -- before was just an out of bounds area
- New area is accessible connecting the backlot and break room
- An expanded power plant area with some new rooms
- New area connecting power plant and communications room, also connects with the Rocketlabs
Other Changes
- Added a way to access the roof right outside railway entrance
- Dance pad and the radio have been moved, ft. new tracks
- Backlot a little bit more detailed, pickups added
- Train entry doors are now a lot better looking
- 2 new easter eggs

Other Changes
- Resupply rooms are now accessible for both teams -- teleporters still team restricted though
- Detail rooms now are viewable from above the map, and vice versa
- Roof is now accessible for less mobile classes in about 5 ways, mobile classes are much more menacing in this version of the map
- 1 new easter egg
New Area: The Rocketlabs (7 new rooms)
- Connects the Railways and the Lavaducts via north
New Area: The Waterway (6 new rooms)
- Connects the Lavaducts and the Railways via south

Spawn/Central Area
- Fixed spawn doors having render issues with the no entry overlays
The Lavaducts
- A new room has been added between the basement of the hotel and the pit area
The Railways
- Added two more tracks to the boombox
Roof
- Ventilation/Chimney model on the roof of one of the power plant buildings was given collisions
The Rocketlabs
- Textures have been tweaked in the main hallway of the Rocketlabs, and more supports added to meld textures a bit better
- Supports added to the fan room entrances
The Waterway
- A new hallway has been added to the main waterway room
- Upper rafters added to the main waterway room
- 1 new easteregg
